Vintage TV Viewmaster Reels

Viewmaster. The amazing gadget that allows you to see 3D pictures of everything from Thunderbirds to Tom & Jerry to the Grand Canyon to something called Dr WHO.

Here's a selection from the 70s and early 80s that money can't buy.

TV Shows What Weren't In TV Action Comic...

When the early 70s comic weekly Countdown dropped its science fiction remit and became TV Action, it broadened its comic strips to include other TV show genres.

In particular, shows that the young me (at the time) didn't bother about like Hawaii Five-0, Cannon and Alias Smith & Jones. There were plenty of other shows that DID interest me but alas they failed to materialise in the comic's pages.

Until now... with apologies to purists who may argue about broadcast dates and the years the comic was originally published.

(Admittedly, this was all an excuse to do a cover for The Invaders following my rediscovery of it on The Horror Channel...)

Those EastEnders Spin-off Annuals...

Yes, it still the 'annual' season and here's a selection of annuals I've knocked up over the weekend featuring your favourite characters from TV's EastEnders

If the layouts of some of them seem familiar, you have good taste in cult television.

The Officail Doctor Who Calander 2018...

You've probably heard by now of the official 2018 Doctor Who calendar. You may even have bought it from one of those calendar stores that frequent shopping centres this time of the year.

You will definitely have noticed one or two little 'errors' that have made it past the licencing department at the BBC. Notably the third Doctor quote, in which a demand for obedience is attributed to the heroic Time Lord when it was actually said by his arch nemesis, the Master.

There's also a modern 2015 Zygon on the fourth Doctor page.

This is unacceptable.

I thought I could do better. Though it seems that producing an error-free officially licenced calendar is more
difficult than it appears...
